The Comet Foundation (previously known as the Charles City Excellence in Education) awards grants to teachers who have innovative projects designed to engage, inspire and empower students in the classroom. The Comet Foundation provides a way to invest in student learning and experiences. Every year the foundation invests thousands of dollars in educational programs that students would not have access to without your assistance.  This is a public/private partnership that makes Charles City schools exceptional.
